Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at the lodge. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fantastic view overlooking the Teign estuary from the balcony. The free parking right outside was a huge plus, making it super convenient for us. However, the tired appearance around the edges was a minor downside.
The hotel is nestled by the beautiful river Teign, providing a serene and picturesque setting for a holiday, especially with children. While the location offers natural beauty and easy access, being close to the main road has its drawbacks. The staff is attentive and accommodating, making the stay pleasant overall. The dining experience, although delightfully rich in food choices, suffered from slow service during breakfast. The amenities and facilities are satisfactory, adding to the value of the stay.
The hotel was a bit disappointing overall. The rooms were not well-maintained, with dirty runners on the bed and unclean carpets. The location was remote and inconvenient, requiring multiple trips to the main building for basic amenities. The service was initially good but turned sour when I was overcharged on my credit card.
